Alvarion Releases New Partner Loyalty Programs And Portal To Improve Channel Collaboration

Alvarion
, a provider of wireless broadband solutions, has announced major enhancements to its Partner Program and Portal. Among the changes are new partnership options, online certifications, incentives and deployment modulation tools. These additions were designed to create business opportunities and resources to encourage partner sales and marketing success.

“Alvarion recognizes the vital role that partners play in delivering products and services,” said Jason Fiorello, Product Manager at Winncom Technologies Corp., an Alvarion partner, in a press release. “Their new partner portal offers easy access to a wide range of materials, sales tools and resources, all in one location. This is an indispensable resource for keeping our team and our VARs up-to-date on the latest Alvarion products, technical trainings, events and promotions.”

The revived Alvarion Partner Program caters to three types of partners: Channel Partners, Alliance Partners and Distributors. Alvarion also has initiated an Expert Partner program, developed for “highly specialized system integrators” that deploy complex wireless broadband networks in certain vertical markets. This program will allow non-competing segment partners worldwide to share information and break into new markets. The company also launched a consultant program that allows consultants access to in-depth product knowledge, solutions and tools — without any commercial commitment — to preserve professional objectivity.

Using the Alvarion Partner Portal, organizations can customize their dashboards based on specific preferences and needs. Marketing resources based on specific products and market segments also are available on demand via desktops, smartphones and tablets. Other features integrated into the new Portal include promotions, a technical resource center and warranty activation.

“The new portal was designed to provide tangible business value to our partners and tools that enable them to gain a competitive edge,” said Gal Biran, VP Channel Business at Alvarion. “Our goal has always been to empower our partners and allow them to tap into our and each others’ areas of deep domain expertise, and we are pleased to deliver new enhancements that continue to build on this overall strategy.”
