Accucode Ventures Into Managed Services With InDemand Technologies

Accucode, a reseller of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC), mobile, wireless, POS and other technology solutions, has launched an LLC called InDemand Technologies. Headquartered in Austin, Tex., InDemand Technologies will equip VARs, OEMs, ISVs and distributors with a portfolio of managed services they can offer to their customers.

“We’ve seen seminal changes in the market around Hardware-as-a-Service, and these changes are ushering in burgeoning demand for the services provided by our Louisville Operations Center,” said Kevin Price, Founder and CEO of Accucode. InDemand Technologies, LLC is a byproduct of Accucode’s Louisville Operations Center, which first opened in June 2008.

Offering unified service and support to help businesses easily manage and maintain their ecosystem of mobile computing, wireless networking, AIDC, barcode and POS equipment, the Louisville Operations Center now supports hundreds of thousands of devices for retailers nationwide.

OEMs, VARs, ISVs, and distributors that partner with InDemand can offer their customers a variety of managed services, ranging from spare pool management, next day replacement, staging and configuration, deployment, help desk support, remote device management and more. All services can be bundled into customized packages, are sold on a monthly subscription basis, helping customers mitigate risk and avoid large upfront investments.
