Datameer Revamps Partner Program To Support Adoption Of Big Data Analytics
Datameer, a big data analytics platform for Hadoop, has redesigned its Global Partner Program in a move to accelerate the adoption of Big Data, according to the company.
The company said the new program is built for flexibility and designed to avoid channel conflict, ensuring impact and value for participants. It also features a rewards system that can recognize partners and help form a trusted and easily accessible network for customers.
“There is unlimited potential in a strong partner ecosystem, especially as we continue to grow globally,” said Mark Ferretti, VP of Global Business Development & Worldwide Channels, in a statement. “We’re committed to providing our partners the best possible path to achieve growth, gain new customers and expand existing relationships.”
The Global Partner Program includes four categories:
- Technology: When a technology solution provider integrates with Datameer, mutual customers of the two solutions can generate better results. The solutions may also increase customer value when they’re both native to Hadoop.
- ISV/OEM: An ISV/OEM partner can provide customers with Datameer’s self-service Big Data integration, preparation, analytics and visualization functionality built within its platform.
- Solution Provider/System Integrator: Partners in this category are enabled to generate new opportunities, increase profitability and close deals faster by reselling or referring Datameer opportunities to their clients.
- Affiliate: Through this program, partners receive an easy self-service method for lead referrals.
According to Datameer, the combination of instructor-led training, certification workshops and a free, on-demand subscription to Datameer University empower participants to sell, advise and support their customer’s Big Data initiatives.
