ASG Technologies Seeks Channel Input With New Partner Advisory Council

ASG Technologies, a provider of integrated and flexible end-to-end solutions for the information powered enterprise, has created its first partner advisory council. While ASG welcomes input from each of its partners, the council presents a formal program to get hands-on experience in guiding the company’s product roadmap, upcoming programs, and policies.

The strategic insights gathered from the partner advisory council will directly influence ASG’s strategic product direction and investment decisions. The council will also ensure all partners are armed with the effective tools to market, sell and support ASG’s solutions as they solve their customers’ demanding business challenges.

The partner advisory council, will rotate members on an annual basis, currently consists of 12 executives at partner organizations, including representatives from Accenture, Primitive Logic and Zia Consulting. New members will be selected to represent viewpoints from each of ASG’s product solutions, geographical markets and partner business models. The council also currently has 10 ASG members, representing key internal stakeholders, including executive, sales and service leadership; product management; global enablement; and the global partner program office.

While all ASG partners are encouraged to share input on an ongoing basis, partner advisory council members will have a formal platform to do so during regular meetings and surveys. Members will meet six times each year – four times virtually and twice in person. Beyond being tapped for their strategic insight, members of the council will receive tactical direction and roadmap strategies from ASG executives to help drive their own planning and implementation decisions toward success.

“At ASG, we are committed to delivering not only the best solutions, but also ensuring our customers’ and partners’ evolving needs are constantly met,” said Wayne Monk, senior vice president, global alliances and channel sales, ASG Technologies. “That mission hasn’t changed, so we wanted to create a more direct platform to understand what those needs are. Receiving firsthand insight from our partner advisory council will take us one step further to providing a world-class partner program supporting next-generation solutions.”

ASG’s global partner program serves as an increasingly critical piece of its sales strategy. Built to offer valuable resources to partners like Carahsoft, KPMG and Wipro, the program enables organizations to learn, grow and prosper when selling and supporting ASG solutions. The company’s growing channel – which currently has just over 60 active partners – encompasses global outsourcers, business partners and technology alliance partners.
